Recorded at New College School, Oxford, on 6 February 2000, this was Bill Greenow’s band devoted to the French chanson repertoire, as seen through the prism of Sidney Bechet. The band worked widely in the UK, with regular sessions at London’s 100 Club, and concerts in a whole range of venues from Somerset to Cumbria.
