In November 2019 for the Foundation Juan March in Madrid, a small group drawn from members and friends of the Buck Clayton Legacy Band went to play a “Swing Revival” concert, focusing on the Buck Clayton and Duke Ellington small group repertoire. Loosely modelled after the quintet that Buck Clayton fronted with tenor saxophonist Buddy Tate, this band is now available for bookings anywhere in Europe. The line-up is Menno Daams (NL) contest; Luca Stoll (CH) tenor saxophone; Jonathan Vinten (GB) piano; Alyn Shipton (IRL) bass and Bobby Worth (GB) drums.
